A LOST LENS FOUND OUR START
It all started when a lens went missing in a favorite pair of sunglasses. The frame model had been discontinued by the manufacturer and there were none available for purchase on the secondary market. Buying a replacement pair was not an option!
We utilized our eyewear industry experience to innovate a new way of solving our lost lens problem. We sourced the highest quality materials and used state-of-the-art optical manufacturing equipment to create our first set of TYTE Replacement Lenses to fit our favorite pair of sunglasses. The new sunglass lenses fit perfectly, looked good, and we felt good about saving our favorite pair.
Precision Optics Meets California Culture
We wanted to share our breakthrough to help others see better and save money at the same time. The idea caught on quickly! Our local friends and family in Southern California started placing orders for their own custom replacement lenses.
